Before joining NMC, Murphy spent 15 years managing facilities for L3Harris, a major government contractor. There, he oversaw logistics and operations for a site with over 4,000 employees, handling high-profile events with precision and professionalism.
Murphy has held leadership roles across the trades, from heading the telecommunications department at a major electrical contractor to running his own residential construction business. His decades of hands-on experience, including project management and large-scale builds, give him a well-rounded understanding of every aspect of facilities management.
Murphy takes pride in building strong networks and smooth processes behind the scenes. He’s passionate about creating environments that exceed expectations—spaces that make a lasting impression and contribute directly to the success of the organization. His attention to detail and ability to see what others miss help him deliver flawless results.
Outside of work, Murphy is a self-proclaimed “manual recreator” who prefers to explore the outdoors on foot or by bike, no motors required. He and his wife of 28 years, along with their four children, love to travel and seek out new adventures. They make it a priority to experience as much of the world as possible together.
